Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a sensory-friendly early morning designed for neurodiverse children, such as children with sensory processing challenges, autism spectrum disorder, and/or ADHD, to enjoy the library in a less stimulating environment. In addition to book check-outs, sensory toys will be available in the Story Room for exploratory play as well as art supplies to practice independent creative skills. Registration is required to help maintain attendance levels. Walk-ups will be welcomed day-of until maximum attendance number is reached.

The City of Monrovia does not discriminate on the basis of disability and upon request will provide reasonable accommodations to ensure equal access to its programs, services, and activities. To ensure availability, you are advised to make your request at least 72-hours prior to the program or meeting you wish to attend. Please contact the library at 626-256-8274 for more information.
