Pronunciation Workshop

Imagine the discouragement of working hard to learn new words and phrases and then when brave enough to try to use them, others don’t understand you. Think of the frustration of being constantly asked to repeat yourself and seeing looks of confusion when you try to communicate. Pronunciation can make a big difference!

The workshop will be led by Diana Fredrich who has been involved in the Literacy program since 2007, and facilitating her popular weekly English Conversation Group since 2009. Passionate about language and providing quality learning opportunities for students, Diana has studied English Language Learning extensively and draws from a wealth of first-hand experience working with hundreds of adult learners from many different backgrounds. She will share practical examples and provide activities you can use with your adult learner to help with pronunciation challenges.
