Plymouth students, come check out what books are on the Monrovia Reads Mobile Literacy Van! The van will be on campus during lunch.

Learn, experiment and explore at Innovation Lab at the MPL. We will have a different STEAM-related activity for school-aged children on select Wednesdays every month. This program is in partnership with MHS Math & Science Academy (MASA).

Come and get creative on the last Wednesday of the month. Our makerspace cart includes supplies, tools, and ideas for making. Create your own zine, friendship bracelet, pins, buttons and much more.

Meet with other learners and a trained tutor to read News For You, a weekly newspaper for people who wish to improve their reading skills.

Build confidence in your work, school, family, and social life.

Drop by the library and play some video games, on a big screen, or a board game on the last Thursday of the month. We'll have a variety of multiplayer games ready to play. Open to all skill levels. No registration required.

All little science enthusiasts are invited to the Mini-Innovation Lab sessions at the MPL. Toddlers will learn, through hands-on activities, about biology, physics, engineering, chemistry and more.

It's Game Night at the Monrovia Public Library! Have fun with new people and enjoy our collection of board games, puzzles and Nintendo Switch games. Feel free to bring your own games to share. (Age's 18+)

Join us for a sensory-friendly early morning specifically for neurodivergent children, such as children with sensory processing challenges, autism spectrum disorder, and/or ADHD, to enjoy the library in a less stimulating environment.

Are you a fan of anime or manga?  Would you like to learn how to make some of those delicious dishes?  If so, please join for a cooking lesson where we discuss how to create the humble, but hearty onigiri. 

Welcome to the Teen Advisory Board! This is an orientation for new TAB members who have already submitted a TAB application.

School aged children are encouraged to attend this special arts and crafts program. Participants will be led through the card making process by our craft expert. All supplies will be provided. Space is limited. Reservations required.
