Lunar New Year Celebration

Join us at the library as we celebrate the Lunar New Year in 2024, the Year of the Dragon, with a captivating lion and dragon dance performance by Field Elementary School right outside our doors. Following the performance, families are invited to partake in engaging craft activities in the Youth Services area. Immerse yourself in the spirit of the Lunar New Year and embrace the cultural richness of this special occasion. At 1:00 p.m. a short demonstration of a Chinese string instrument named the guqin will take place. Come hear it being played and learn about its three thousand year old history. No registration required.

In case of rain, performances will take place in our Library Lobby.
