Join us for this month's Senior Lunch & Learn at the Community Center for a discussion on how to make homes more resilient in the face of increasing wildfire risks. This session will provide practical common sense strategies for fire-resistant home design and hardening, utilizing smart building strategies and materials, and proactive safety measures that help protect homes and communities.
Attendees will learn about key features that improve home durability—such as defensible space, ember-resistant construction, and energy-efficient upgrades—that not only enhance safety but also reduce long-term costs. We’ll also explore ways communities can work together to strengthen local preparedness and response efforts.
