In partnership with Monrovia Duarte Black Alumni Association
Celebrate Black History Month at the library as we spotlight African American contributions to the Arts. Start off at 2:00 p.m. in the Community Room for an enriching performance by professional storyteller Ina Buckner-Barnette, bringing to life the vibrant narratives that have shaped our history. Following the storytelling session, families are welcome to explore the Youth Services area where a variety of crafts and additional activities await. This event is a wonderful opportunity for families to come together, learn, and engage in the cultural tapestry of African American heritage.
